Wishing for warmer weather....

So it is FREEZING here in PA.....I woke up to a surprise snow storm....ugh....but after work, I came home and decided to create a layout about one of my FAV weekends from last year....it was in Oct and Kevin and I decided to take our new kayaks to Assateague Island in MD to go kayak camping.  We had perfect weather...the water was warm, we saw TONS of ponies...and there was hardly any people.  You could hear the ocean from our campsites both nights....it was so relaxing.  I came back with a ton of sea shells, a lil sun burnt (I use SPF 50...I am just so pale...haha!) and so many great memories....I can't wait to do it again.  OK, on with today's layout:

 I used bright pink paint on white card stock for the edges.  I cut down a map of the island we got while we were there and traced out our route with a pink gel pen.

 I used some sea shell and sun glasses clear stamps I got in the dollar bin at JoAnn's and colored them in with marker and watercolor.

 I also got to use my new polka dot SMASH tape...I couldn't resist throwing it onto this layout.
