Rainy day layout

I was really inspired by a layout I found on Pinterest- it's something very different from how I usually scrap, but it just seemed perfect to use up some of my old stash!!! :) so fun.... And then I realized I forgot to leave room for the journaling!! Lol- so I'm going to attach a pocket on the back and fill it w tags so I can still have the journaling but not wreck my layout!!!

Jojos bday party

Here's a layout I created this am - yes I had a bday party for my puppy- she just recently turned 1!!!  She had a great time with all her friends at the dog park- and all the fund bright colors of the Amy tangerine collection yes please fit the mood of her party perfectly! I love mixing 12x12 pages with page protectors that have different size inserts

Thank you card

For this card I combined 2 cards Jennifer McGuire created- inking the stamp and then swiping it across to create a sketches effect and a circle flower design- the bright pink is a little too much for this card I think, but the rest looks pretty good! I need to add more ink colors to my stash I think! Haha

Multi page layout

I wanted to have these pages be slightly different- I made the 1st page 8" wide so you can see the other page peaking through. Then I cut and sewed a page protector to slightly bigger than the 8" piece of card stock- then sewed the 2 page protectors together so the pages flowed together when opened- this was a great way to use my scraps up!

New layout

Still working on my album from a camping trip I took a few years ago- when I saw these pictures I knew I wanted to use some sort of background paper with arrows on it- I had a few options, but decided on this one from a studio calico kit- it had the most arrows that coordinated with it and I knew I wanted a ton of arrows because the trail was super steep and people could not believe we were carrying our backpacks on it- but we were too far down the trail to turn around!

Grandparents

A 3 photo layout! Quick and simple...

A new challenge

So I decided to make a scrapbook for a dear friend who is about to have a baby- I have never made a scrapbook page w out any photos- so this is a little- scratch that- BIG challenge for me- but a fun one!! I have the beautiful Crate Paper line Little Bo Peep and a recollections line from Michael's that was given to me as a gift last year- they actually match very well- and I'm sure I can find some things from my stash to add in as well!

Lovely stroll

I am on a roll lately scrapbooking!! I used some more of the fifth and frolic line from dear lizzy- I wanted it to coordinate with the last layout as this will be my title page for this trip and the last layout will be the facing page. Lots of layering and embellishments! :) enjoy!

Memories at the garden

A few more pics from oct when my mom and I were at longwood gardens- I used mostly dear lizzy 5th and frolic collection- I LOVE this background paper, but it is a little much- the colors are awesome! I think my fav bit is the lil Polaroid snapshot that I cut out to lay over a pic of the fountains.

Butterfly layout 2

This is the rt side of the layout I just posted! Very different and simple from what I usually make, but sometimes that's nice- I just really wanted the photos to stand out since this is such a special memory for me- how often do you get to hold a butterfly in ur hands? Poor little guy had a broken wing!!

Quick layout

I have been waiting to use that orange butterfly paper for such a long time! This layout didn't turn out 100% how I thought it would, but I do like it- I may go back and add a few things but not sure...but anyway I had fun making it and used up a lot of stuff from my stash- that's all that counts right? :)

Garden snapshots

Ok- so this is a scrap lift of the layout from Shimelle's video this week- when I saw it I knew just the pictures I wanted to use- she used 4x6 but I always had in mind taking little sections from a bunch of pics I took of flowers and walkways from this particular trip to Longwood Gardens- I always end up w so many and I feel like it is boring to scrap them all- so I tried this!! I actually LOVE how it turned out!! I picked 12 pictures and cut them into 2" x 4" strips so it would span a double page layout- then I used a mix of a few pages from a studio calico kit and a LOT of stuff from my stash- enjoy!!
