A 3 photo layout! Quick and simple...

A new challenge

So I decided to make a scrapbook for a dear friend who is about to have a baby- I have never made a scrapbook page w out any photos- so this is a little- scratch that- BIG challenge for me- but a fun one!! I have the beautiful Crate Paper line Little Bo Peep and a recollections line from Michael's that was given to me as a gift last year- they actually match very well- and I'm sure I can find some things from my stash to add in as well!

Lovely stroll

I am on a roll lately scrapbooking!! I used some more of the fifth and frolic line from dear lizzy- I wanted it to coordinate with the last layout as this will be my title page for this trip and the last layout will be the facing page. Lots of layering and embellishments! :) enjoy!

Memories at the garden

A few more pics from oct when my mom and I were at longwood gardens- I used mostly dear lizzy 5th and frolic collection- I LOVE this background paper, but it is a little much- the colors are awesome! I think my fav bit is the lil Polaroid snapshot that I cut out to lay over a pic of the fountains.

Butterfly layout 2

This is the rt side of the layout I just posted! Very different and simple from what I usually make, but sometimes that's nice- I just really wanted the photos to stand out since this is such a special memory for me- how often do you get to hold a butterfly in ur hands? Poor little guy had a broken wing!!

Quick layout

I have been waiting to use that orange butterfly paper for such a long time! This layout didn't turn out 100% how I thought it would, but I do like it- I may go back and add a few things but not sure...but anyway I had fun making it and used up a lot of stuff from my stash- that's all that counts right? :)

Garden snapshots

Ok- so this is a scrap lift of the layout from Shimelle's video this week- when I saw it I knew just the pictures I wanted to use- she used 4x6 but I always had in mind taking little sections from a bunch of pics I took of flowers and walkways from this particular trip to Longwood Gardens- I always end up w so many and I feel like it is boring to scrap them all- so I tried this!! I actually LOVE how it turned out!! I picked 12 pictures and cut them into 2" x 4" strips so it would span a double page layout- then I used a mix of a few pages from a studio calico kit and a LOT of stuff from my stash- enjoy!!

Ok- I got the new dear lizzy pack from 2 peas- LOVE IT!!! I took this pic of JoJo and I Christmas Day - I added the bokeh w an iPhone app (bokehful) - so I was thinking about the photo at work today - and I thought about an awesome layout by Wilna ferstenburg I saw a while ago an loved- and I thought what if I make it even more dimensional!? Hmmm- so I came home, grabbed my cricut and cut a few hearts out using the sweethearts cartridge, then used the cover page from the pack (cuz I couldn't bear to cut into the new pages quite yet when I only needed small sections for hearts) and used various heart punches and dies- as well as some Heidi grace embellishment I got on sale at Joann's - so anyway this might just be my very fav layout ever!!!

Winter layout

I am feeling so sick right now- so I can't sleep- and gotta go to work soon, so I figured I may as well get up and scrapbook a little before I go in! :) this page was using mostly fancy pants set winterland - from last year, but hey, I NEED to use up my stash- I bought it for a reason right? I made the little tag w a tag punch and used some snowflake stamps to embellish it a bit- date stamp is any tangerine - and I have no idea where my mom got those awesome wood glittery snowflakes- she gave em to me a while ago and I always thought they were too pretty to use! :) well my New Years resolution is to just use up the stash I have- no sense hoarding it right? Ps doesn't JoJo look so cute playing in the snow? It makes her a wild woman!! Haha
